A man from Githurai Kimbo in Ruiru, Kiambu County was arrested on Monday night by the police for allegedly paying boys to masturbate.
The middle-aged man is said to have engaged in indecent acts with four minors.
The suspect, Ayubu Muthaura, allegedly lured the boys aged between 12 and 14 into pleasuring themselves in a private house.
Police reports reveal that the man, who works as a cook with a Nairobi-based NGO, used to pay the minors Sh300 to teach them how to masturbate.
It is believed the suspect was preparing the boys psychologically before sodomising them.
Investigations also state that in April 2019, the suspect asked the victims to masturbate as he watched on several occasions.
He is said to have touched the boys' private parts during some sessions.
Muthaura also owns a Githurai Kimbo that he used to entice his victims with sweets. It is also claimed that he paid for swimming sessions at a Ruiru commercial swimming pool.
According to K24, a parent to one of the victims noticed a change in behaviour of the son and upon interrogation, the boy revealed the dirty acts they are enticed to engage in leading to the arrest of Mr Ayubu Muthaura.
Appearing at the Ruiru Law Court on Tuesday, the prosecution pleaded for more time to gather enough evidence against the suspect.
The request was granted.
