It is quite disgusting to walk around with a chewing gum stuck on your clothes.
Removing the gum will not need the intervention of a professional cleaner. You can do it yourself at home.
1. Soaking in lemon juice
Lemon juice works quite well in removing chewing gum stuck on clothes. You only squeeze up your lemon and soak the part of the cloth with the gum in the juice and scrape it off. Wash off the cloth immediately after applying the lemon juice to avoid bleaching.
2. Freeze the gum
Place ice cubes on the gum or even put the cloth on the freezer and wait for a while. This will harden the chewing gum and make it easy to remove it. Make sure you use less force no to interfere with the fabrics.
3. Hairspray the gum
Once you find chewing gum on your clothes, apply hairspray on the gum; it will harden making it easy to remove from the piece of cloth.
