Controversial Kenyan pastor James Ng'ang'a of the Neno Evangelism Church has addressed claims indicating that he plans to vie for the Kibra parliamentary seat. This is after campaign posters bearing his image emerged on social media.
“The other day I saw posters claiming that I'm vying for the Kibra MP seat (Juzi nimeona nimewekwa eti nasimama Kibra ), you guys are so funny.” Pastor Ng'ang'a stated.
In an undated video that is doing rounds on social media, Ng'ang'a also commented on claims that he is stressed and almost committing suicide.
According to the Neno Evangelism pastor, he cannot commit suicide because he does not want to leave his wife and expensive property.
“Someone claimed that they’d met me driving my V8 (Toyota Landcruiser) looking so stressed I’d hand myself (Mwengine akaandika akasema amekutana na Ng'ang'a na V8 na ameona Ng'ang'a ako na stress ni kama anataka kujinyonga ). You are mad,” Pastor Ng'ang'a noted.
Pastor Ng'ang'a who is not new to controversy went ahead to insist that he could not bear the thought of leaving his wife together with his good lifestyle behind.
This is nonetheless not the first time that the preacher is attracting the attention of social media, earlier this year he became a topic of discussion on the internet when he warned bishops at his church against disrespecting his wife.
