Kenya Premier League (KPL) side Wazito FC has again raided the cash-strapped AFC Leopards to sign Whyvone Isuza.
Whyvone Isuza now becomes the fourth player to signed by the "money bags" after the arrival of Kennedy Owino and left-back Dennis Nganga both from KCB as well as Dennis Shikayi of AFC Leopards.
According to the club's website, the attacking midfielder parted ways with Ingwe and he will be currently working with club's manager Bramwell Makotsi.
"Isuza is a national team player and he is definitely a good addition to the team. The technical bench recommended his signing because they understand his abilities and we are glad that he agreed to join us. His addition makes us stronger,” Wazito FC CEO Dennis Gicheru told the club website.
The former Mathare United player had earlier turned down offers from KCB and Bandari FC.
Wazito team manager Bramwell Makotsi praised the former Kakamega boys alumnus terming him as the best and utility player in the midfield.
"Isuza has been one of the best midfielders in the Kenyan Premier League in the past few years and we are glad to have him on board. He is a versatile player who can play in different positions and that versatility is important for the team. We are trying to beef up the team by getting quality players, players like him (Isuza) make us a better team” Makotsi said.
The club, on Sunday, also posted on their Facebook page welcoming Whyvone Isuza.
"Welcome to Wazito Football Club Whyvonne Isuza," read part of the Facebook post.
