Controversial Kenyan singer Akothee and Ugandan businesswoman Zari Hassan have attracted a lot of attention on the internet after they announced a plan to host an event dubbed Single Mothers Retreat.
This idea is, however, not the only thing linking the two who are among the most sought after East African female celebrities. They have a lot in common especially when it comes to motherhood, some of which will not just surprise you but also shock you.
To begin with, they both have five children. Akothee has three daughters and two sons namely; Vesha Shalian Okello, Rue Baby, Prudence Apundo, Oyoo and Ojwang. Zari too has five children namely; Raphael, Quincy, Pinto, Latiffah Dangote and Prince Riaz.
Secondly, the two celebrities who have divorced severally got their first three children from the first marriages. Zari was married to Ivan Ssemwanga with whom she had Raphael, Quincy, Pinto.
Although little is known of Akothee’s first husband, she has always made it clear that her first three children were products of her first love.
Lastly, both the first three children of the celebrity mothers share the same gender. Whereas Akothee’s first three children are daughters, Zari’s first three children are sons.
Among other traits that the two are being outspoken and of course, they both have an expensive lifestyle.
