The government has launched investigations into the competency of the Silverstone Air Services.
This comes after one of their planes was forced to make an emergency landing at the Eldoret International Airport after its rare tire fell off moments after take off.
The Kenya Civil Aviation Authority (KCAA) says it has now launched a probe at the Silverstone Airways.
The Monday incidence comes barely a day after another Silverstone plane crashed another plane at the Wilson Airport in Nairobi on Sunday morning.
The two cases are barely a month after another plane from the same company crashed moments after takeoff from Wilson Airport.
No one was injured from the Monday and Sunday incidences, but several people got injured when the plane crashed due to a technical hitch.
According to a statement released by KCAA, the investigations launched at Silverstone Air are being led by the Air Accident Investigation Department (AAID) of the Ministry of Transport, Infrastructure, Housing, Urban Development and Public Works.
“The audit is being performed in order to determine the level of compliance with the current Civil Aviation regulations and their own company approved manuals and procedures,” said KCAA as quoted by Citizen Digital.
Kenyans reacted harshly after the Monday incident prompting the government to take action.
