Renowned lawyer Ahmednasir Abdullahi has lauded President Uhuru Kenyatta for delivering on his election pledge to improve the country's infrastructure.
The Senior Counsel said Uhuru and his Jubilee administration has done an 'excellent' job in building physical structures and facilities since he rose to power in 2013.
"Give credit to H.E Uhuru and Jubilee. In terms of Infrastructure, Uhuru has done an excellent job," Ahmednasir tweeted on Wednesday.
His remarks came a few hours after the president inaugurated Phase 2A of the Standard Gauge Railway (SGR) which stretches from Nairobi to Suswa.
Accompanied by First Lady Margaret Kenyatta, the Head of State made the maiden trip to Suswa aboard Madaraka Express.
Speaking at Ngong SGR Station in Kajiado County, Uhuru said 'Kenya won't be able to attract investors without modern infrastructure' and told off those who have been criticising the multi-billion project.
Earlier on, the Head of State commissioned the construction of the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA) to Westlands expressway.
He said the project was part of his government's efforts to reduce traffic congestion within Nairobi.
In Kajiado, the President further commissioned Kimuka-Oloishoibor Community Water Supply Project which is a CSR initiative by Kenya Railways and the SGR contractor.
Uhuru was accompanied by Cabinet Secretaries; James Macharia (Transport and Roads), Eugene Wamalwa (Devolution) and Foreign Affairs' Monica Juma.
Governors; Mike Sonko (Nairobi), Alfred Mutua (Machakos), and Joseph Ole Lenku (Kajiado) were also present.
