Migori Senator Ochilo Ayako has called upon the Abagusii community to connect with the Luo Nyanza community Politically just as they have connected economically and socially.
Speaking in Kisii on Friday at a funeral service, Ayako revealed that the Abagusii community have occupied a very central position in Kenya.
"To your south the Abagusii you have Migori and Homabay Counties. To your North you have Kericho and to your west you have Kisumu. Those are low lands, Highlands and low lands are connected economically, socially and should be connected politically," said Ayako.
"I want to plead with you to start looking for regional friendship and make sure we are moving together as a nation. The position you people have occupied is very sensitive," he added.
The eloquent senator urged the super Interior cabinet secretary Dr Fred Matiangi to closely work with Former prime minister Raila Odinga.
"I want to urge my brother interior CS Dr Fred Matiangi to work closely with Raila Odinga so that we move forward in getting everybody on board in this country," he advised.
Ayako branded the Tanga Tanga movement as visionless demanding them to clearly tell Kenyans on how they are intending to fight corruption which has crippled.
