Coach Sebastien Migne - 8/10 Was very precise with his tactical decisions and made the right call when he substituted Kahata.

Patrick Matasi – 5/10 After the first goal, Matasi looked short on confidence and was duly punished for the second goal but kept Kenya for the most part of the game with fine saves.

David “Calabar” Owino – 4/10 Didn’t offer anything going forward or defensively, caught out of position and is responsible for the first two goals. Was brought off at the half time for Ochieng.

Musa Mohammed – 6/10 Lacked focus at first but gained momentum as the match went on.

Joseph Akumu – 8/10 brought in to deputize injured Joash Onyango and lived up to his name. Made brave clearances to frustrate the Tanzania attackers.

Aboud Omar – 6/10 Defensively solid, he was quick enough and made sure Tanzania didn’t operate the right flank.

Johanna Omolo – 8/10 Took charge in midfield, found a bit of space and finished very well to make it 2- 2.

Victor Wanyama - 8/10 Looked sharp and strong from the start, linking cleverly with the attackers. Showed why he's the team's captain.

Ayub Masika – 8/10 Pulled the strings in attack and was awarded for his efforts after Omolo turned in for the second goal.

Francis Kahata - 4/10 Kahata's ball carrying ability was nowhere to be seen and when Kenya fail to dominate possession, he struggles alot to get into the game. Came off in the 33rd minute for Avire.

Eric Ouma - 6/10 Marshalled well the left wing and often took his marker on.

Michael Olunga - 9/10 opened the scoring for Kenya with a fine overhead kick, and then finished the scoring to make it 3-2.

Substitutes

John Avire - 6/10 came on in the first half and his partnership with Olunga upfront was vital for the success of the team.

Bernard Ochieng – 6/10 replaced Owino, did well defensively and was comfortable on the ball.

Erick Johana Omondi – 7/10 came on the 66th minute for Omar, brought in fresh legs and surprisingly set up the third goal.
