Renowned blogger Dennis Itumbi on Sunday came out to defend President Uhuru Kenyatta's daughter Ngina Kenyatta against online criticism.
This is after Ngina became the subject of discussion on social media, over her speech on youth employment which she delivered at the African Philanthropy Forum on Friday.
Following the speech, a section of Kenyans took to social media attacking Ngina for commenting on youth empowerment, yet she never faced challenges most Kenyan youth face.
Among the critics was popular Kenyan activist Boniface Mwangi who blamed the first family for the unemployment menace in the country.
Itumbi, however, defended Ngina stating that she should not be blamed for the unemployment menace in the country.
He lauded Ngina for the great and bold move she had made as the Director of the Kenyatta Trust.
"How is all this Miss Ngina Kenyatta's problem? She is running Kenyatta Trust with Mwenda Muthama as a Director. Educating 450 disadvantaged and talented children from high school to University. Granting them opportunity. Good Job Ngina.(More about Kenyatta Trust soon)," Itumbi tweeted.
In her speech, Ngina challenged the youths to rise up and find the solution to the increased rate of unemployment by venturing into new and innovative fields.
