Political scientist Mutahi Ngunyi has heaped Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) party leader with praises during his 75th birthday.
In his message for best wishes to the former Prime Minister, Ngunyi described Raila as 'maker of things' and named three prominent politicians he has 'created'.
He named Deputy President William Ruto, Amani National Congress (ANC) party leader Musalia Mudavadi and firebrand lawyer Miguna Miguna.
"Happy Birthday Raila Odinga. You created Ruto. FACT. You created Mudavadi. FACT. You created a PAPER TIGER revolutionary called MIGUNA MIGUNA. Fact. You are a MAKER of THINGS. And as you AGE remember this: "...revolutionaries have no EXPIRY date" (Gaddafi) #HappyBirthdayBaba," the political scientist tweeted on Tuesday.
Both Ruto and Mudavadi were part of 'pentagon' that campaigned for Raila's presidential bid in the 2007 disputed elections.
After Raila formed a grand coalition with retired President Mwai Kibaki, he appointed Miguna as his advisor on coalition affairs, but they later fell out and he sacked him.
Ngunyi was among hundreds of Raila's friends, family and supporters who showered him with best wishes after turning three-quarters of a century.
"Happy Birthday Baba Raila Odinga- 75 years is Diamond. Yours is the fine diamond, it has been through, handcuffs, a failed Coup, disguised escapes, torture, political losses and wins, stones, Teargas, Power and all that appertains being a diamond! Hope to read your memoirs someday!" posted digital strategist and blogger Dennis Itumbi.
