Speaking on Sunday during a funds drive for the Gongoni Pastors’ Fellowship in Magarini Constituency, Jumwa said that the Bill is with no doubt one of the best things that have ever happened to this nation in the recent past.

She reiterated that time has come for the leaders and the general public to support the Bill for the sake of development.

According to the lawmaker, the Bill will end the wrangles between the National Assembly and Senate if it is adopted by the people of this nation once it is presented to them for approval.

Jumwa, who gave sh1 million donations from Ruto, promised to continue fighting for the people. Jumwa also pledged to present to the Church Sh.1.5 million in October.

She also said that the Building Bridges Initiative only seeks to create positions for individuals but the Punguza Mizigo Bill has a proposal to reduce the number of MPs in parliament.

“As a woman, I support the Bill since it will introduce equal representation at the constituency level,” she said, as quoted by Daily Nation.

She appealed to the county assemblies to support the Bill wholeheartedly.
