Renowned lawyer and social and political commentator Steve Ogolla has weighed in on the murder of business tycoon Tob Cohen.
In a tweet Friday evening, Mr Ogolla poked holes into the line that the defence is pursuing that Cohen might have been killed elsewhere and then his body dumped in his Kitusuru home.
According to the legal analyst, criminals are not so generous as to kill somebody and then dispose of their body at their victim's homestead.
"THEY DON'T GET to kill your husband and then come to bury him in your compound. No, they don't work like that. They're not as charitable as you'd like us to believe. No, we don't want to be guilty of vacating common sense. RIP Tob Cohen, " Steve Ogolla tweeted.
The businesses magnet's body was discovered dumped in a septic tank at his Kitusuru home.
His wife Wairimu is a chief suspect in the murder case.
Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) boss George Kinoti led the investigation into the grisly murder.
A court ordered that Mr Cohen's wife be subjected to a test to establish her mental state.
Tob Cohen went missing about 40 days ago, prompting the DCI launch investigations.
Wairimu is being represented by former Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP) Phillip Murgor.
