A Facebook page with photos of the alleged stowaway has added more fuel to the firestorm of controversy surrounding a Sky News investigative piece.

The account uses the name Cedric Junior and not Paul Manyasi as Sky News had reported the name of the stowaway to be.

This begs the question, is the name of the stowaway Paul or Cedric?

The profile picture, according to a story by the Star newspaper, was changed on July 14 2019.

What is strange is that the body of the stowaway was discovered earlier in South London on June 30, 2019.

This throws into question the veracity of the Sky News story that has been trending on social media platforms for days on end.

The discovery of the Facebook page comes after the man said to be the father of the stowaway changed his narrative and said that his son was alive in Nairobi but was in police custody.

In the story, John Sparks, Sky News Africa's correspondent, had claimed that he had asked law enforcement authorities questions regarding the body of the stowaway.

He also interviewed a man and a woman who appeared to confirm that the pictures that had been shown to them were that of their son.

Birth certificates seen by the Star said to belong to the parents of the stowaway do not have the name Manyasi anywhere.
