Gor Mahia FC has completed the signing of Ghanian footballer Francis Afriyie.
The 24-year-old joins Kogalo club from Mexico’s Murcielagos F.C.
"Another new player to join Gor Mahia. Striker Francis Afriyie from Ghana formerly of Mexican side Murciélagos FC," Gor Mahia confirmed in a tweet.
Afriyie is the second striker Gor Mahia has signed in a span of one day.
Earlier today, the club confirmed signing Ivorian striker Gislein Yikpe Gnamian from Club Gagnoa that participates in the Ivorian topflight league.
The two forwards are expected to fill the boots of Rwandese hit man Jacques Tuyisenge who left Gor Mahia for Angolan giants Petro Atletico in June.
While confirming Gnamian's arrival, the club's official website noted that their latest catch would be competing for places with the rest of the strikers some of whom were also signed recently.
"Gnamian will vie for places with Nicholas Kipkirui,Dennis Oalo, Dickson Ambundo and other forwards in the squad when K'Ogalo launch their hunt for a 19th league crown and a place in the coveted Caf Champions League," read part of the statement.
