Speaking during the memorial service of  Bomet Governor Joyce Laboso at the Green Stadium on Friday, the leader of Majority at the Senate has revealed that the two factions are alien to him.

"Mimi sijui hii vitu vya eti TangaTanga ama Kieleweke kwa sababu sijaenda mkutano nikaambiwa tutangetange ama tuelewane ( For me am not aware of these TangaTanga or Kieleweke because I have never attended a meeting where am told let us walk around or let us have to get each other)," said Murkomen.

The TangaTanga faction is allied to Deputy President William Ruto while Kieleweke team is opposed to Ruto's presidential bid in 2022.

The vocal leader who is a close ally of DP Ruto further called upon top Jubilee leadership to show real unity among Kenyans because that was one of Laboso's wish.

"Joyce told everyone who cared for her that she did not want the relationship between President Uhuru and DP Ruto to be affected," added Murkomen.

Murkomen's sentiments come amid alleged fall out between the duo with DP Ruto's allies claiming President Uhuru is indirectly fighting the latter ahead of 2022 elections.

The event graced by President Kenyatta saw many leaders who spoke claiming that Laboso's death was a big blow to Bomet county residents and Kenya at large because she was a vibrant leader who was deemed to transform the society.

Joyce Laboso who until her death served as Bomet county governor succumbed to cancer at the age of 58 after battling with the disease for a long time.
