The former Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) Chair Ahmed Isaack Hassan has landed a high-profile job in Uhuru's Jubilee government.
Isaac Hassan made a loud comeback after President Kenyatta appointed him as the Chairman of the Board of Kenya Industrial Property Institute.
His latest appointment is one of the several key appointments announced in an official gazette notice released on Friday this week.
In another appointment, Sports CS Rashid Echesa has also appointed a rugby player Humphrey Khayange and a marathoner Tecla Lorupe as Board Members of the Kenya Academy of Sports.
The slain IEBC ICT chief, Chris Musando’s wife Ms Eva Buyu was also picked alongside the former Mbooni legislator Kisoi Munyao and John Masaba to become board members of Export Processing Zones (EPZ) Authority for a three-year term.
Issac Hassan now joins the list of high profile appointees by President Kenyatta this year alone.
Other individuals from Garissa county working in Jubilee's government include Nordin Haji who was appointed by Uhuru as DPP following the exit of Keriako Tobiko.
