Tanzanian gospel musician Rose Muhando has released a new hit.
In the new song, the singer heaps praise at President Uhuru Kenyatta, Kenyan leaders and Kenyans for helping and saving her from her 'shackles.'
In the six minutes of audio, posted on YouTube by Kamba gospel singer Stephen Kasolo, Muhando gives thanks to the Kenyan head of state and prays that the country remains united and protected.
"My appreciation for Kenya. Leaders of Kenya and all Kenyans for saving my life. (Shukurani zangu kwa taifa la Kenya. Viongozi wa Kenya na wananchi wa Kenya kwa kuokoa maisha yangu)," reads part of her song.
Her new song comes months after she hit the headlines when a controversial video with Neno evangelism pastor James Ng’ang’a circulated on social media.
In the video, pastor Ng'ang'a is said to have cast demons from her. However, some people claimed that Muhando had been overpowered by drugs and needed medical interventions.
The Tanzanian Music Foundation (TAMUFO) came out asking that she travel to Tanzania to receive treatment, which she refused.
Muhando has been living in Kenya after she claimed that unknown people wanted to kill her. So far, Muhando has recovered from her illness and she is back in the music industry.
