A fleet of cars carrying the bridal party together with the limousine headed to Kiamutugu in Gichugu, Kirinyaga County for a wedding reception.

Unfortunately, a vehicle that was driven by a woman identified to be 65 years old hit the limousine on the side.

According to witnesses, the driver who was motoring the limousine evaded what could be a fatal accident by veering off the road and on the process, he crashed the expensive car.

No one was hurt in the accident but the bridal party bewailed getting to the venue a bit late.

Sources that spoke to Citizen Digital pointed out that the limousine had been hired for Sh200,000 a day.

“We hired the limousine at Ksh.200,000 to transport the bride but right now she will be transported to the Christians Worship International Ministry in another vehicle, it is a big loss,” said the transport manager.

It was a disappointment for the locals who were expecting the bride to arrive in the classy car only to arrive in another vehicle.

The limousine has been towed to Wang’uru Police Station.
