Embattled former Treasury Cabinet Secretary Henry Rotich has been asked to name his accomplices in the multimillion Arror and Kimwarer dams' saga.
A section of the clergy in Uasin Gishu, who spoke at the ACK St Mathews church on Sunday asked Rotich not to die alone when other officials in the government also benefitted from the same.
Led by Eldoret Anglican Church Diocese Bishop Dr Christopher Rutto, the leaders said that the CS should not allow himself to be a sacrificial lamb when there are other beneficiaries.
The clergy asked the office of the Director of Public Prosecution (DPP) to ensure justice is served as soon as possible for Kenyans to know the truth behind the dams saga.
"If indeed Rotich ‘ate’ the Arror and Kimwarer dam projects money with others, he should come out and name them however mighty they are and not accept to die alone," said Bishop Rutto, as quoted by the Standard.
Rotich was arrested alongside his Principal Secretary Kamau Thugge.
He denied the charges leveled against him after he was presented in court over the alleged loss of funds in the project.
President Uhuru Kenyatta has since named Labour Cabinet Secretary Ukur Yattani as the acting Treasury CS.
