Speaking while traversing the constituency, the county boss claimed stolen money was being splashed in Kibra to bribe voters to vote in a certain way.

"We borrow money and when that money arrives here half of it is stolen... That money that is being stolen is what is being splashed here so that  voters can vote for a certain candidate. (Tunaomba mikopo alafu hio mikopo ikifika hapa hata nusu ya hiyo mikopo inaibiwa... Hiyo pesa inaibiwa ndio mnaona ingine inapeanwa huku bure bure ndio watu wa kupangwa wapigiwe kura" the Machakos Governor said. (10:34- 10:52)

Mutua urged Kibra residents to vote for Imran Okoth because he was a resident of the constituency, and understands the bewildering array of problems that the people of the area are grappling with.

The people of Kibra will flock to polling stations on November 7, to elect their next Member of Parliament.

Imran Okoth is tipped by analysts to win the by-election even though he faces strong competition from Harambee Stars forward McDonald Mariga of Jubilee party, and Amani National Congress candidate Eliud Owalo.
