Popylar Kenyan activist Boniface Mwangi who was moved by a woman medical plea has advised for the ailing woman to be taken for the Mashujaa Day celebrations in the hope of the president seeing her pain.
The activist further placed Kenyatta National Hospital on the spot claiming that the hospital should do treat the woman who was in charge of the surgery for free.
"This breaks my heart. Over to you @StateHouseKenya @NziokaWaita @MOH_Kenya. @KNH_hospital which is supposedly the biggest referral public hospital in East and Central Africa can do the surgery for free. @irungu_bee take Pauline to #MashujaaDay tomorrow, let Uhuru see her pain," Boniface Mwangi stated in a tweet.
The ailing woman identified as Pauline Waruguru Wanjau is in need of Sh 780, 000 to undergo a surgery.
"Humanity is priceless, let's come up to the aid of Pauline Waruguru Wanjau,she requires a total of 780000.
"God bless you, m-pesa/wave/world remit 0745718823," the tweet that attracted Mwangi's attention read.
Boniface Mwangi while replying to the message also tagged The State House, Ministry of Health and Chief Of Staff in the Office of The President Nzioka waita.
Mashujaa Day celebrations are set to be held on Sunday where President Uhuru Kenyatta is expected to preside over the event.
