Narok Senator Ledama Ole Kina has held rallies in his county in a bid to sensitise locals ahead of the Building Bridges Initiative (BBI) meeting in Narok on 21, February.
During the rallies, the outspoken Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) party legislator said that he had extolled the virtues of the BBI, telling locals that the initiative was all about inclusivity and meritocracy.
He also broached the the controversial topic of regional governments.
The Narok senator revealed that he would hold another rally next Friday to make sure that they are ready and well-prepared for the Narok BBI meeting that Raila Odinga is widely expected to grace.
"I spent the day explaining to my people what BBI is all about!!Meritocracy, inclusivity and Regional Government was the topic of the day! Next Friday I will be in Olpusumoru to prepare my people for #BBI Maasai Edition, which will be held February 21st in Narok Town, " his tweet on Sunday night read.
The BBI continues to be part of the national discourse as Kenyans mull over a possible change in the country's governance structure.
The BBI report was launched to the members of the public by President Uhuru Kenyatta at the historic Bomas of Kenya over 2 months ago.
