Dagoreti North Member of Parliament Simba Arati and Kimilili MP Didmus Baraza on Tuesday were seen together shaking hands after their fall out during the Kibra parliamentary by-election.
National Assembly Speaker Justin Muturi has since hailed the two MPs for resolving their differences.
“They appear to be cordially engaging each other, that is as it should be and it is commendable,” said Muturi as quoted by the Speaker remarked.
Barasa was on November 7 roughed up by a group of youths in Kibra. He was campaigning for Jubilee's McDonald Mariga.
Arati came under fire from some quarter in Jubilee Party accusing him of engineering the chaos and violence meted out on a section of Jubilee lawmakers in Kibra.
He, however, defended himself against the claims saying he is not responsible for what happened and that he saved Barasa from the irate youths.
On Tuesday, he noted that Barasa still remains to be his friends as he understands whatever happened was just politics.
