Haji has now announced that his office is investigating two cabinet secretaries over the matter.

The CSs risk arrest if the DPP finds evidence linking them to the scandal.

Addressing journalists in Naivasha on Monday, Haji said that the war against graft has gained momentum, adding that he will not relent in the anti-graft war no matter what people say about his work.

During the address, he also denied claims that he had travelled to Dubai to probe the case which saw the taxpayers lose Sh11billion after the dam project stalled.

Haji has since assured Kenyans that his office is in a position to probe all the officials in the government linked to the loss of billions of taxpayers money before the end of his term.

He also said that his office is doing its best to assist the Judiciary in clearing the backlog by providing evidence where necessary in connection with the cases they present to court.

The revelation comes after President Uhuru Kenyatta on Saturday declared that he will not tolerate corruption in his administration.

“The culture of unbridled corruption will end, I will continue pursuing the corrupt. I have been telling them that I am not seeking votes anymore, they have to return public money. I don’t have a friend when it comes to fighting corruption. My friends are the people of Kenya," he said.
