Speaking Sunday to members of the press, Mr Ndile contended that the Machakos county boss had caused business people in Machakos to incur losses by advising them to invest in areas where there is no business.

Kalembe said that he had invested in the county because he believed the governor when he promised to make the Konza city a reality.

"Because Mutua has failed to bring his city , because we went there believing the city would bring business. We are thinking about taking him to court over the losses we have incurred and also for making us establish businesses where there is no business," he said.

In fact, tumeenda hasara kama sisi wanabiashara.

Kalembe Ndile's press conference adds another layer to his tense relations with the Machakos Governor.

Mr Kalembe also mourned what he called unending harassment by county officials and went as far as claiming that his life was in danger.

Last week, he hosted Nairobi Governor Mike Sonko in Machakos in a rally that saw Governor Mutua come under blistering criticism.
