Renowned lawyer and socio-political commentator Ahmednasir Abdulahi has weighed in on the high profile killings of individuals deemed to be anti-establishment.

In a tweet, the lawyer who has represented President Uhuru Kenyatta before said that he hoped that President Museveni had not lost grip on Uganda given the deaths of high profile figures killed through extrajudicial means.

His tweet came in the wake of the shooting death of Bobi Wine's friend who was an outspoken police officer Muhammad Kirumira and his wife.

The two were found dead in their vehicle after being shot by unknown people

Kirumira had been a staunch critic of the Museveni administration and had vowed to die fighting for the rights of the people of Uganda.
