Kapseret Member of Parliament Oscar Sudi claimed on Friday that his efforts at reaching out to Interior and Coordination of National Government Permanent Secretary Karanja Kibicho have not been successful.
Speaking to the press in Sigor Constituency, the outspoken legislator said that he had sent a litany of text messages to and even called the PS but his efforts amounted to nothing much.
The MP said that he has issues including insecurity in the North Rift that he has long wanted to share with PS Kibicho." Because personally, for the last three-four months, I have looked for PS Kibicho for a very long time. I have called him and texted him. (Kwa sababu mimi mwenyewe, for the last three four months, nimetafuta PS Kibicho kwa muda mrefu sana. Nimempigia simu nimemuandikia message.)," Oscar Sudi said.
Sudi fired at the embattled PS over what he said was the PS's involvement in politics at the expense of doing his work.
He joined Kerio Valley leaders in an effort to sensitise residents on the importance of maintaining peace.
The area has long been ravaged by cases of banditry and cattle rustling.
The Kapseret lawmaker is a staunch critic of the Interior and Coordination of National Government PS, claiming that the PS was at the centre of an assassination plot on the Deputy President Dr William Ruto.
