In an interview on NTV on Tuesday. Midiwo said that he has noted that only the TangaTanga leaders have been politicking during most of these events.

He praised Senate Majority Leader Kipchumba Murkomen and Ford Kenya leader Moses Wetangula for their candid speeches during the BBI forum in Mombasa.

He said that the leaders spoke the voice of the people. He also said that leaders in both camps need to understand that they should take advantage of these platforms to air the grievances of the people.

"Tanga Tanga team are the only ones playing politics. Murkomen and Wetangula spoke to the interests of the BBI during the BBI meeting in Mombasa and I was so impressed," he said.

Speaking during the same interview, Former Kakamega Senator Boni Khalwale said that it is awkward when residents are asked to give their views only for leaders to read their resolutions before they even take them into consideration.

"It is holding Kenyans in contempt, assuming they are foolish. You invite them to BBI meetings to give their views and then resolutions are read to them," he said.'
