Kuria has asked those behind the initiative aimed at uniting Kenyans to come up with a law that will see elected leaders and political party leaders accept elections results.

Politicians in the country are known to file petitions in court after losing in elections, especially if they believe the process was marred by irregularities and illegalities.

The court would then based on the evidence presented before it, either nullify the results and call for a fresh poll or uphold the victory of the elected leader.

Kuria argued that for the initiative to be a success, politicians should accept the will of the people, regardless of whether they win or lose in the polls.

"I have some free advice for the Building Bridges Initiative. All elected leaders and political party leaders must sign an undertaking to abide by ‘The Will of the People Charter’ to accept election results irregardless of the outcome," Kuria posted on his Facebook page.

Kuria's advice has triggered mixed reactions among Kenyans with a section of them supporting his sentiments. Here are some of their reactions.
