Mr Buzeki ditched Jubilee formally last week, accusing handlers of Deputy President William Ruto of sabotaging his gubernatorial ambitions. He's keen to replace Governor Jackson Mandago.

In a tweet, Buzeki now wants Kenyans to consider joining Chama Cha Mashinani party, arguing that believing in Jubilee manifesto will be disastrous again in 2022 polls.

"Unaniuliza KWANINI nimehama jubilee !!! WAMECHOMA PICHA !! Manifesto ilikua FAKE. Uongo IKO Na MWISHO.Unless Unangoja UWONGO MPYA. Karibu MASHINANI," he wrote

It loosely translates to: "Those asking me why I ditched Jubilee, it's because it has lost direction. It had a fake manifesto unless one is waiting to be duped again. Welcome to CCM."

Mr Buzeki, a key financier of Jubilee Party, said he's keen to revamp CCM party that is associated to former Bomet Governor Isaac Ruto. He said already, strategies have been laid down.

Upon his defection, Soy MP Caleb Kositany dismissed him as a cry baby, adding that nobody was frustrating his political ambitions in Uasin Gishu County.

“He defected silently without our knowledge. We have no reason to frustrate anybody. When somebody is trying to make a wrong move, he should not drag us into his failures. We know why he is doing this. He wants to mix business with politics,” said Mr Kositany.
