Cockroaches are among the most hated household pests in the world. Eliminating these bugs is becoming hard as they are becoming immune to different insecticides.
Scientists have now warned that killing these bugs might become impossible as they are evolving. According to a group of scientists from Purdue University, German cockroaches have are developing resistance to insecticides.
They further revealed that these bugs are becoming cross-resistance to other types of chemicals they have never come in contact with. Surprisingly, they are passing these immunities to their generations.
Their offspring are becoming stronger than the chemicals used to kill them, which has become a worrying thing.
With the evolution of super cockroaches, the researches warned that it might become hard some day in the near future to kill or even control these disgusting bugs with chemicals alone.
However, they revealed that cockroaches cannot be killed or controlled by chemicals alone. According to the researcher at Purdue University, the bugs can also be controlled through a combination of different techniques.
Cockroaches can also be controlled through sanitation and use of traps which have insecticides.
With different types of cockroaches around, knowing the type of cockroach in your house might help you deal with them easily to prevent them from spreading.
