State House Secretary of Innovation, Digital and Diaspora Communication Dennis Itumbi and Senate Majority Leader Kipchumba Murkomen on Saturday took to social media to celebrate Uhuru on his 58th birthday.

However, their messages didn't go well with Gachoka who hit out at the duo and reminded them they were in Ruto's Tangatanga faction, a group he has repeatedly accused of disrespecting Uhuru.

"Happy Birthday my friend, my mentor, my boss and my President," tweeted Itumbi.

In a harsh response, Gachoka told Itumbi that Uhuru was not his boss and asked him to wait for Ruto's birthday to send such a message.

"Itumbi sometimes its better to be quiet. Remember it’s not DP Ruto’s birthday this is someone completely different ask Murkomen and Boni Khalwale for the right birth date for your boss; take a back seat even if its difficult to imagine another President, Uhuru is in office," he posted.

On his part, Murkomen reminded Uhuru he was reelected together with his deputy on his birthday, two years ago.

"A people united will never be defeated!" said the Elgeyo Marakwet Senator.

In his reply, the KTN's Point Blank Show host mocked the Senate Majority Leader wondering how he could say he was united with the President when they have been reading from different scripts in a number of issues.

He cited the cancellation of the multi-billion Kimwarer dam project, the Building Bridges Initiative and the upcoming Kibra parliamentary by-election.

"Murkomen, united you and Uhuru who you have taken before the Senate for cancelling the dams project? United with Uhuru who has told me personally he is not with DP Ruto? United with Uhuru who is behind BBI with Raila Odinga? Kibra?" Gachoka posed.
