Diamond's former bodyguard Mwarabu Fighter has opened up on what led to his fall out with the Tanzanian musician.
According to Mwarabu, the WCB boss was paying him poorly for the security services that he was providing.
He further revealed in an interview with Bongo Five that the payment he was receiving from Diamond could not adequately cater for his family's needs.
Mwarabu claimed that he suffered a lot after losing his job as Diamond's bodyguard because he did not have money. The bodyguard who later on opened his own security firm claimed that his commitment and dedication to the work were not rewarded accordingly.
“When I quit my job I suffered a lot because I did not have money. Let the youth learn from my experience. Despite my commitment to guarding Diamond’s brand, I had nothing in my pocket. At that time, I had no car or motorcycle to ease my movement so I used public service vehicles. My salary could not even cater for my two weeks needs but I had no other option,” Mwarabu Fighter stated as quoted by SDE.
Diamond Platnumz is among the top East African musicians who enjoy a huge fan base in Kenya. Diamond has collaborated with various Kenyan musicians such as Akothee. He is currently engaged to Kenyan musician cum radio presenter Tanasha Donna.
