Arombo primary school deputy head teacher Dan Odhiambo Osok was arraigned before Ahero Principal Magistrate Patrick Olengo and charged with defiling four girls.

The court heard that the accused defiled the minors before his arrest on Monday, which resulted in his presentation in court on Tuesday.

The prosecution, however, requested for more time to complete investigations, adding that the suspect has to remain in custody as his life is in danger.

The Magistrate was informed that residents in the area where Osok supposedly committed the offences are baying for his life, and might lynch him if let loose.

Reports on Citizen Digital that Osok did not take a plea, which the judge said will be done when he appears in court again and will be remanded for a week.

This comes barely a fortnight after another primary school teacher was arrested with similar allegations, and proceeded to allegedly help the class eight girl to procure an abortion.

The incident happened in Awasi, after which the girl was admitted at the Jaramogi Oginga Odinga Teaching and Referral Hospital (JOOTRH) after the abortion went wrong.
