In an interview with Citizen TV on Tuesday, Oloo said that he is innocent, adding that he is prepared to stage a comeback in the county assembly after he was ousted.

“What I stand for is that the assemblies have to be independent, preserve their integrity and oversight the executive. I will be back at the assembly the soonest I am ready,” he said.

Oloo insisted that he will maintain his integrity, arguing that he was impeached due to his stand against corruption.

"Corruption fights back and fights hard. I think I was impeached because I sought experts to oversight county activities," he said.

According to the Members of the County Assembly (MCAs) they received an order from Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) Party to block Oloo from accessing office.

The MCAs said that they have no problem with the speaker, adding that they, however, want him to defend himself.

Milimani Market MCA Seth Kanga said that they will not protest Oloo's return as long as he is cleared by both the courts and ODM.

"We have no problem with Oloo. Let him be cleared by both the party and the courts then we will gladly receive him," said Seth Kanga, as quoted by Daily Nation.

Oloo has affirmed that he is innocent, adding that he will not bow to pressure to leave office for good.
