He is also a professional Dj and plays at Club Big Boss in Kisii.

Even though the society has always disregarded the informal sectors such as deejaying, this has never stopped Odari from exploring his passion.

Odari has always been passionate about being a Dj since he was a kid. He started as a bedroom DJ, playing uthe sing virtual DJ app on his laptop.

After finishing High School in 2014, he joined Kisii University to pursue Bachelors Degree in Industrial Chemistry. That is when he met Dj Menace, the person who groomed him to be what he says he is today.

Among many other shows, Dj Insta has performed alongside the popular local artist, Timmy Tdat at Rongo University Grand Culture Week 2016, Kisii University Freshers Night alongside King Kaka. Dj Insta charges Sh15,000 per gig to perform in a local club. But for corporate gigs, his fees rise depending on the management.

When he was starting over as a professional Dj, he could get kicked out of a club by the bouncers and at times, however, he didn't lose hope.

Right now, the money he earns from deejaying sustains him in campus and with the help and support he gets from his family members.

He encourages those who would like to be Dj's to be focused, patient, determined and above all, put their trust in God.
