It is a good idea to stay open and flexible to your partner but only to a certain limit.
They could take advantage of your openness and flexibility to demand other things about your life that are not really worth telling them.
Your spouse should never ask you to do the following:
1. Change who you are
One of the greatest qualities of a perfect partner is one who lets you be who you are. By this, I mean your partner should not try to change you from who you are to what you are not.
Do not let your other half alter anything that defines you because at first, they will make you feel unsafe knowing they wish you'd be different from who you are.
2. Talk about past lovers
Audrey Hope, a relationship expert says your partner should never ask you to explain to them about your past lovers and your sexual experience with them.
Such information is private unless you want to reveal them yourself, but they shouldn't demand you to talk about them when you don't want to.
3. Cut off friends or family
When your partner tries to cut off your relationship with friends and family, it could indicate that you are being isolated for a bad course.
A partner should never to control who comes into your life or who gets out. For the case of friends, there's nothing wrong when they ask you to get rid of toxic friends.
