A remark by Naivasha MP Jayne Kihara has gone viral.
The MP was captured in a video where he makes comments laced with sexual undertones.
In the undated video, Kihara says that Kikuyu men are generous with ‘seeds’ and that they have fathered many children out of wedlock.
The MP was responding to Isiolo Women Rep who had made remarks to the effect that men from Mt Kenya region have indulged into alcoholism and are no longer making their women give birth.
“I want to respond to remarks made by Isiolo Women Rep who insulted our men that in Kenya, her community will catch up with the Kikuyu people in terms of population because they are having more children than those in Mt Kenya region. She claimed that as they give birth, Kikuyu men are in bars drinking. That is cery bad,” Kihara said.
The female MP said it was in bad taste that a honourable member was talking about bedroom issues in matters policy of the country.
