Imran, brother to immediate former MP the late Ken Okoth, on Sunday held campaigns in Kibra, ahead of the November 7, mini poll.

In a tweet, ODM lauded his reception at Kibra's DC grounds where the party held a public campaign rally, terming it an indication of the win awaiting him in November.

"Our day in Kibra this afternoon. The incoming MP Bernard Otieno Okoth received a warm reception from his employers to be. He was factual and on point on what he wants to do for the people of Kibra. Indeed he is the man they are waiting to install as their MP on 7/11/19," the party said.

During the rally, Imran was accompanied by a delegation of ODM politicians, among them party elections boss; Suna East MP Junet Mohammed.

Others included Simba Arati (Dagoretti North) and Homa Bay Woman Representative Gladys Wanga.

Meanwhile, a section of Jubilee party leaders have called for the disqualification of Imran over claims of inciting his supporters to violence.

This is after a group of youth allegedly attacked and vandalised Mariga's campaign vehicles and banners on Saturday.
