An elected MP in Kisii County has accused the Jubilee government of laxity.
Bonchari MP John Oyioka while speaking at Suneka CDF offices on Monday claimed that the Jubilee government is doing too little in regard to development promise issued to the electorate during the campaigns in the 2017 polls.
According to the lawmaker, Jubilee government under the leadership of President Uhuru Kenyatta and his Deputy William Ruto is failing Kenyans.
"The Jubilee government promised to build more than 20 stadiums during the campaigns but it is unfortunate until today nothing is being done. If at all the Jubilee government focuses on its campaign promises, let the government move with speed to fulfil the promises," he stated.
He said negotiations are ongoing to ensure Suneka Stadium is build noting that one of the government ministries has taken over the playground by setting up their offices.
"We will need support from the Jubilee government to build Suneka stadium. I urge the Jubilee leadership to move with speed to meet the campaign promises," Oyioka noted.
The lawmaker warned local leaders against divisive politics noting that the peace of the people of Bonchari will be disrupted with hatred politics.
