Uhuru on Friday said that he remains in the dark on the content of BBI report, which is yet to be handed to him by the BBI taskforce, weeks after it completed compiling the final document.

However, Bahati lawmaker Kimani Ngunjiri says Uhuru is insincere, insisting that he must have by now been briefed about what the report entails, as president and the BBI co-founder.

Speaking on Taach FM on Tuesday morning, the MP said that Uhuru could only be taking his time after detecting a possible rejection of the report, but cannot claim to be in the dark.

"I don't agree that he has not seen (hajaona) report, he has seen it, he is trying to steer clear because he is realised things are hot (ameiona, ni kuruka anaruka maana anaona mambo ni moto). You cannot lead a country and not know plans to change the country (ile mambo inapangwa ya kubadilisha nchi)," he said.

On ODM, he claimed that the party came into the BBI with a hidden agenda, and while Uhuru could be genuine in his push for unity, Raila and team, he said, could be out to push for the realisation of their personal agenda.

Ngunjiri, a strong critic of the BBI and Uhuru's truce with Raila, termed this the reason why Raila allies have been talking about a referendum immediately after BBI formation.

He also defended a section Jubilee politicians who have been against the BBI issue, and who have been bashed for opposing a document which has not been released yet.

He said that the opposition is informed by ODM's declarations which indicate that the BBI is a plot to bring about changes not in any way beneficial to Kenyans, making it useless.

"We are not inside but we know what is being planned as ODM never keeps secrets. They cant keep quiet, you will always know their plans (Sisi hatuko ndani lakini tunajua kitu inaendelea maana ODM hawajui kunyamaza, hawajui siri, utajua tu kile wanapanga)," he added.
