The petition was filed by Mutua challenging a Court of Appeal's ruling that nullified his victory in the August 8, 2017, general election.

Ndeti said she will abide by the court's decision since it is the highest court in the land.

She addressed the press in Mavoko, Machakos County on Monday.

Ndeti said she will continue agitating for electoral justice and quality leadership even if the Supreme Court reinstates Mutua's victory.

“It will not be the end of the road for me in case the Supreme Court reinstates my rival (Governor Mutua),” Ndeti said.

The Wiper politician said she has greater plans for Machakos people and will continue to pursue good leadership.

Ndeti, however, exuded confidence that the court will rule in her favor.

The former Kathiani MP maintained she won the August 8, 2017, gubernatorial election but was rigged out.

The Supreme Court is expected to make a ruling on Mutua’s appeal after the parties filed their submissions last week.

The court said it will notify parties on the date for the ruling.
