Marriage is sensitive and requires efforts from both husband and wife to stay healthy. There are ways through which we kill our marriages without realizing it.
Here are three ways your killing marriage unknowingly.
1. Thinking negatively about your partner
This could in another way be called insecurity. When you think negatively about your partner, chances are that your feelings for them will change.
Negative thoughts could ring in your mind that your wife or husband is cheating and to some point, you'll bring up an argument about it when it's actually not true. The more you think about it, the angrier you feel.
2. You allow your friends to influence you negatively
Sometimes your friends could be the reason your marriage is failing. Why? Because they feed your mind with misdirecting information about your partner or relationship. This, therefore, means that as long as you value your marriage, you should carefully choose the kind of friends you stay around.
Your friends could turn out to be the real enemies of your relationship.
3. You stopped saying "I love you"
Assuming that because you are together and you stay in the same house is enough to mean you love each other is wrong and very dangerous for your marriage.
"I love you" are words that you should tell your partner each day. To some, these words mean more than actions. Don't shy away from expressing your feelings through these simple words.
