The 11-year-old boy who hails from Sweden has been living with the Maasai community for over seven years and he has become one of them.

Speaking to BBC in an interview shared on YouTube on Wednesday, Dauadi said he is not considering going back to his home country.

He has learnt the Maasai culture and their way of life, starting from their foods, clothing and even their language.

"I like meat, milk and also the Maasai dances. (napenda nyama, maziwa na vile wanavyocheza Wamasaai)," he said.

Daudi in another interview with Global TV, said that he went to Tanzania together with his family members, a mother and his young sister.

This was after his mother got married to a Maasai man, who was then working as a security guard in the country's capital, Nairobi.

Like any other Maasai, the boy wants to be a farmer and venture into livestock keeping.

However, he noted that not all Maasai Tanzanians like him, some hate him for not going back to Europe where they perceive there are good life standards.

"Some people hate me, they tell me it is not good to stay here, go back to Europe. (watu wengine wananichukia, oh sio safi fanya hivi, wewe rudi ulaya)," he added.
