How will you know that you are over-dehydrated?

Here are the effects that you are suffering that indicate you have been drinking excess water;

1.Your limbs and lips are swollen

Too much water causes electrolyte disproportion in your body because it lowers the level of sodium in the blood. This makes your hands and lips retain fluid which makes it to swell.

2. Having muscle cramps

Excess water will make you urinate frequently. Excessive urination leads to loss of potassium which aids in contraction and relaxation of muscles. Therefore, the deficiency of potassium leads to getting frequent muscle cramps since the muscles cannot contract and relax normally.

3. You are tired

Excess water strains your kidneys since it flushes out water all the time. This overworks your kidneys and will generally affect your body and you will feel exhausted.
