With the team being led by Minority Leader David Mberia, the ward representative on Tuesday said that they have written another later to Nairobi speaker Beatrice Elachi, asking her to set up an urgent meeting where they can discuss matters affecting the county now that the account has been frozen.

"As legislators, we want to discuss affairs of our own county now that we have accounts frozen, the conduct of the executive and the lacuna we have in terms of leadership," he said

This happens after Elachi rejected their first letter indicating that for a special discussion to be set up there is a need for clarification.

The ODM MCA’s need to state down the main thing affecting the county for her to gazette a special sitting.

"The special sitting request was not properly done because it was general. You cannot state you want to discuss the current crisis facing the county, it has to be specific on what exactly is ailing. I’m guided by the law that clearly says to gazette a special sitting you have to be very specific and gazette what to discuss,” Elachi explained.
