The National Service and Transport Authority (NTSA) has called on the owners of 584 vehicles to visit their office and verify ownership.

In a notice shared on their Twitter handle on Wednesday, NTSA shared the vehicles' details and called for inspection. 

''Important Public Notice for Motor Vehicle Owners. NTSA vide a Public Notice dated 7th May 2019, notified owners of the under listed vehicle to present them for verification at NTSA motor vehicle inspection center across the country,'' said NTSA

The owners of the listed vehicles have been given an ultimatum of 14 days to present the vehicles for inspection. 

“The owners are hereby given 14 working days to present them, failure to which the vehicles shall be deregistered without further reference to the owners,” the notice reads in part. 

The wanted vehicles include 409 civilian vehicles, 179 trailers, tractors and heavy machinery cars. 

For verification purposes, owners of the listed vehicles will be required to provide the following documents; Original and copy of the Registration certificate (Logbook), Importation documents, National Identification card and KRA PIN Certificate. 

Owners of these vehicles have upto October 28,  2019 before they are deregistered.
