Moi University will on Friday launch a new system which will see students carry out most of the activities online.
The new Enterprise Resources and Planning system (ERP) is aimed at improving the efficiency of service delivery to the student.
In a tweet, the Kesses-based institution welcomed students and other interested parties to the event.
“Moi University invites you to the official launch of the Enterprise Resource Planning System (ERP) on the 5th of July 2019 to be held at the University's student center from 8:00 am,” a tweet from Moi University read.
Some of the features which will be improved by the ERP System include access to fee statement, booking of rooms, monitoring of academic results, fee payment among others.
The institution is working on moving in to a paperless service delivery. This means students will access most of the services on the new system instead of presenting themselves physically at the offices.
The Vice-Chancellor of Moi University Prof Isaac Kosgey will also attend the event where he is expected to give a speech on the development of the institution.
