Embu Assembly Majority Whip Judy Mbuya has been ousted from her position.
This is after she made derogatory remarks against her male colleague.
The MCAs decided to show her the door after told the colleague that he is uncircumcised.
Mbuya, who is a nominated MCA, has also been accused of misleading the Jubilee Party top leadership over the affairs of the political outfit.
In a letter by Majority Leader Michael Njeru, the house accused Mbuya of insulting her colleagues in the house.
The letter, which was addressed to Jubilee Caucus Chairman, Evurore MCA Duncan Mbui, demanded that action is taken against her with immediate effect.
Salesio Kimaru, who is Kyeni South MCA, has since been appointed to replace Mbuya following her ousted from the position.
The house also ousted, Deputy Majority Leader Murithi. The house accused her of failing to spearhead the agenda of the house on critical matters. The motion to send the duo packing was backed by 15 Jubilee MCAs in the house.
“The decision to call a meeting of Jubilee MCAs was occasioned by underhand dealings to destabilise the party leadership within the Assembly. The party is not interested in endless court battles that will end up wasting time meant for legislation,” read a statement from the Speaker.
Three of the MCAs refused to votes while five of them failed to attend the sitting.
Those who were absent never sent their apologies to the house. The speaker said that the two have been on the forefront undermining the party when it comes to critical issues.
